Hostess Gift Idea: Pink Champagne! YUM!

If you are ever going to a party and are thinking of bringing a Hostess Gift...bring pink champagne. It's the perfect Hostess Gift!
I absolutely love champagne and pink champagne is my favorite! It is sweet and elegant just like me! On my top ten list of little things that put a smile on my face, I would say that pink champagne is in the top five. I've even heard you can bake it into a cake, which I will be doing very soon and posting pictures of! Baking and champagne, two of my most favorite things combined to make one super happy Arielle! Though I may need to buy two bottles so I can make sure I have enough champagne left for the cake. lol

(HK Pink Champagne!! How cool is that?!!)

I would drink it like water. Hell I would bathe in it! Wouldn't that be a lovely sight? Me in a tub with little tingly pink champagne bubbles popping delightfully around me? lol Oh well, I can dream. ^_~

(I would bathe in it...seriously.)

Pink champagne is so delicious and wonderfully girlie, it makes me feel every bit the Princess I am! Since this is such a girlie drink, the Hostess will know that you had her in mind when you bought it, which I think is more personal than bringing over a bottle of Captain Morgans or beer (unless it's her favorite). I also like having Pink Champagne in stock for when I have get togethers with my girlfriends. I'll serve it with a tiny pink edible hibiscus flower at the bottom of the glass, and let me say, it is just FABULOUS!

(Pink Champagne in hand (with a hibiscus flower in the glass) at a VIF party.)

RECIPE: The Tom Arnold

Last summer at a Classy Cookout I had, I invented a new drink. See the problem was that we were trying to figure out a classy summer drink to serve at this Classy Cookout (basically a fancy BBQ). My friend suggested that we make "Arnold Palmer" cocktails and that she would bring over the Iced Tea Vodka and lemonade. I already had Arnold Palmer cocktail drink mix so I told her to just bring regular vodka. Since she was going to bring regular vodka I also decided to pick up some Tom Collins mix for my FiancĂ© (it's his favorite drink) and anyone there who might not like iced tea. It was classy and refreshing so I figured it would fit the theme as well. Unfortunately my friend had misread my text and still brought iced tea vodka. I figured that mixing Arnold Palmer mix and the iced tea vodka would be too strong and the only thing I had close to lemonade was the Tom Collins mix. So I had the bright idea to mix the two together...and so the "Tom Arnold" was born! :D

Mix 1-1/2oz Iced Tea Vodka.
3oz Tom Collins cocktail mix.
Add club soda.
Garnish with a lemon slice!

Clothing Gremlins!

(I see you! Get away from my socks!)
Every year I lose several items of clothing. I am very on top of the items that I lend out so I know no one is borrowing them, and yet, no matter where I look in the house, they are nowhere to be found. What's even worse is that they tend to be some of my favorite items to wear. I still hold out that final hope, though, that when I move and am packing everything up they will miraculously appear!

....But they don't.

So if I'm not lending them out, and they're not hiding in the back of my closet or in a box in my storage shed, what happened to them?

The answer is obvious: Gremlins.

We've all had encounters with them. Even the most diligent laundry warriors have lost socks to the tiny fiends!
In the end there is really nothing we can do to stop them, unless you know of any good Mythical Creature Traps (please let me know!). All we can really do is try to appease them. Maybe throw a nice dress sock into the wash every once in awhile as bait so perhaps they'll steal it instead of widowing your favorite pair of Christmas socks! Maybe leave out some cobbling supplies and hope that they make you a pair of shoes!...No wait, that's elves.

No matter what you do just take comfort in knowing that you're not crazy, your clothes didn't just disappear...they were stolen by Gremlins.

It happens to the best of us, even the Domestic Goddesses. ^_~

New Blog! The All-Powerful Domestic Goddess!

(Me and my Husband)
I'm very excited to be launching this new blog!

For those of you who don't know me very well, a little about me: I am a Professional Dominatrix, Alternative Pin-Up Model, Fetish Actress, Performer, Philosopher, Choreographer, Ordained Reverend, Promoter, Marketing Genius, Princess, Partier, Radio Personality, Fetishist, and Pie Baking Enthusiast. I'm also a Wife, and Mother to two adorable little doggies Mr. Jose Mysterio and Master Abbott Wigglebottom (who I'm sure will be featured in this blog several times).

This is my second blog. My first blog Reverend Arielle: The Saint of Sexuality is mostly a photo journal of my crazy day to day (or maybe night to night?) life. I've always been an open book so having my life on display in a blog seemed like a great idea!

With "The All-Powerful Domestic Goddess" I hope to focus more on my home life and the lives of women in general. There seems to be a misconception that being a housewife makes you "submissive". As a Dominatrix AND a housewife I can tell you that this is not the case. I plan to use this blog to show women that running a household is not a sign of submission, but of great control. It is certainly something that very few MEN can do.

I've asked a few of my best girlfriends to help me with this project, so along with my posts, you'll have advice, ideas, recipes, and more from fun and interesting women around the country!

So I hope you all enjoy this little look into my private life and leave with a greater sense of pride in not being just a "mere housewife" but a Domestic Goddess.
